Hi everyone! My name is Roopak and I’m honoured to be reelected as your Director of Student Advocacy. I'm heading into my 3rd year of a Microbiology major. In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with my friends, catching up on the newest TV shows, and reading.

April Quill

Tansi, my name is April Quill, and I am studying Statistics. Outside of academics, I’m a research assistant at CHRIM, working on food allergy research. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, beading, and making ribbon skirts. I’m excited to be part of this council and look forward to connecting with everyone this year!

Hello everyone! My name is Zaina and I am honoured to be your Women's Representative this year! When I'm not studying, I love trying out new coffee recipes, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends and family. I hope this year we can work together to continue building a community where women in our faculty take up space, empower one another, and celebrate each other's successes. Hello to all/Bonjour à tous! I'm Victoria, also known as Vicky V., I’m a second‑year Science student and the current Accessibility Representative of SSA. I love music, dance, meeting new people, and exploring new hobbies! You’ll usually find me around the SSA office or at Desautels, so please feel free to come say hi and reach out if you’d like to chat, ask questions, or take a break!

Hi! My name is Seun Fatunmbi and im excited and honored to be your Black Students representative for this year. I'm right now doing my prereqs for pharmacy through General Science and in my second year of university. In my free time I love to read fantasy novels, bake and most recently obsessed with crocheting!

Alice Miranda Gislason

Hi! I'm Alice, and I'm entering my third year of a Genetics degree. I can usually be found studying somewhere or lifting at the gym! Feel free to say hi anytime, chat about SSA or science as a whole (specifically dinosaurs, if you want to get stuck in an unskippable cutscene)! I'm excited to represent my community and foster new connections all across campus :)
