Hi everyone! I’m Sarah Cameron, a 5th (and final!) year student in the Biological Sciences program. I am currently working on my Honours in a neuroscience/pharmacology lab, and have previously worked on plant-fungal interactions and plastic degradation research. Having been in the Honours research program, co-op, and student groups such as iGEM, I have plenty of experience working with the wonderful women in science I’ve met along the way. As a candidate for the women’s representative position of the SSA, I’m hoping to amplify their voices in the science community, and raise awareness of my peers’ experiences as women in science.
