My name is Juniper Weidl (they/she), and I'm a transfem non-binary individual running for 2SLGBTQIA+ Representative for Science Student Association. I'm a first-year Faculty of Science student, intending to major in Statistics, which I am passionate about! I'm also a mature student, I've worked in Human Resources in the trucking industry for the past 3-4 years before I left to pursue further education. In that career, I've had to be a vocal advocate for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and I feel impassioned to continue that advocacy for the 2SLGBTQIA+ students in Science! I spend quite a lot of my time in and around the Math and Statistics Help Centre in Allen, as well as a few of the study spaces and common areas in Armes, so feel free to say hello if you see me around!
